The SnapLok brand

SnapLok is known for its rotary cleaning kits, specialized cameras, brushes, cleaning heads, vacuums, rods, and adapters. SnapLok products are trusted by professionals for their high-quality, specially blended rod materials and durable stainless steel components and fittings. These help reduce corrosion, prevent unwanted disconnections, and extend product lifespan in the field.

Brief history of SnapLok

SnapLok was created by Dave Kresge, who spent years operating a chimney, air duct, and dryer vent cleaning business before shifting into equipment manufacturing and distribution.

In 2013, Kresge began hearing from chimney sweeps in the UK who were frustrated with traditional rotary rod systems that were difficult to connect, prone to failure, and costly to replace. That feedback sparked the creation of SnapLok, a venting and rotary cleaning system designed to connect faster, perform more reliably, and stand up to demanding field conditions while remaining affordable for professionals.

Kresge established Mark Hart as the master distributor for the UK and Europe in 2015. Through Hart’s company, Rotary Power Sweeping (RPS), SnapLok rapidly expanded its footprint across international markets.

Copperfield Chimney Supply added SnapLok to its product lineup in 2023, helping bring Kresge’s solutions to more American chimney professionals.

From its early days to its growth into an internationally recognized name, SnapLok has remained focused on the same core values: Quality materials, smart design, and products built for performance in the field.
