Atlanta: Best Dryer Vent Cleaning Services 2024

March 13th, 2024 | 4 min. read

By Louis Greubel

Industry experts agree that it’s best to clean your dryer vents at least once a year. This will keep your dryer operating efficiently and help prevent a dryer-related house fire. One of the easiest ways to clean your vents is by using a DIY dryer vent cleaning kit. But for those who aren’t DIY-inclined, hiring a dryer vent cleaning service is your best bet.

The problem is that there are lots of dryer vent cleaning companies out there in every city. It can be tough to find the right one.

At HY-C, we manufacture a DIY dryer vent cleaning kit called LintEater. And though we don’t clean vents ourselves, being involved in the dryer vent industry has given us some invaluable insight into finding the right cleaning professional. And we want to pass that knowledge onto you.

In this guide, we’re going to cover some of the top dryer vent cleaning services in the Atlanta area. We’ll cover reviews, prices (if they’re available), company certifications, and more.

By the time you’re finished here, you’ll have the information you need to pick the right dryer vent cleaning service.

Note that the companies here are listed in no particular order.

Dryer Vent Specialists

The only company on this list to average a five-star rating, Dryer Vent Specialists has been around since 1995. They claim to be the only company in the Atlanta area to focus strictly on dryer vent services. Their service area extends to within a 30-mile radius from Atlanta.

One of the most compelling reasons to use their services is their transparent pricing structure. The company lists a $149 to $249 price range for their vent cleaning services depending on your dryer vent setup. For your money, Dryer Vent Specialists will:

  • Clean your actual dryer
  • Clean the entire dryer vent duct
  • Clean the exterior dryer vent cap
  • Clean and reassemble the flex hose onto the dryer and wall vent connection

They offer several other dryer-related services as well, including dryer vent inspections and repairs, vent reroutes and replacements, transition duct replacements, installing wildlife exclusion guards, and more. They also list prices for all of these jobs.

Dryer Vent Specialists offer their services both for residential and commercial buildings. They offer a 20% discount for group cleanings (i.e., HOAs, apartments, condos, hotels, etc.). They also offer a 10% discount for first responders and military members.

LServices Air Duct Cleaning

LServices pride themselves on their knowledgeable, personable staff. The company is certified both by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association and Certified Ducts. This allows them to stay up to date on the latest industry trends and best practices.

They list a comprehensive pricing structure for their dryer vent cleaning services on their website:

  • Ground-level dryer vents: $175
  • Dryer vents higher than six feet: $199
  • Roof-access dryer vents: $250

Working from heights entails greater danger for the technician and increases cleaning costs as a result.

LServices offers other dryer vent-related services, including transition hose replacements, dryer wall vent replacements, roof vent installations, and wildlife exclusion guard installations. They clean more than dryer vents as well. They also clean HVAC ducts, AC coils, and bathroom exhaust fans.

Their service map forms a sort of triangular border around the Atlanta area. They operate as far northwest as Allatoona, as far northeast as Alpharetta, and as far south as the airport.

Daffy Ducts Dryer Vent Cleaning

The creatively named Daffy Ducts has been in business since 2007. The company has serviced over 15,000 homes in the Atlanta area in that time. The company serves the cities of Conyers, Lawrenceville, Marietta, and McDonough, in addition to other locations around Atlanta.

Their dryer vent cleaning package includes cleaning the connection from the dryer to the wall and cleaning the duct from the wall to the outside. They don’t list prices for their dryer vent cleaning services online. Their cleanings do come with a six-month guarantee, though.

Sometimes, Daffy Ducts runs an occasional promotion for a free dryer vent cleaning. The promotion is often tied to an additional HVAC duct cleaning where the company will clean your registers, return and supply ducts, and furnace air handler and plenum. This promotion isn’t available in all areas, so be sure to call and ask about it.

Daffy Ducts also offers attic insulation services. They’ll install blown-in insulation in your attic, with prices starting at $1 per square foot.

Atlanta Air Pro

Last but not least on our list is Atlanta Air Pro. The company has been in operation since 2001. They don’t list prices for their air duct cleaning services on their website. They’ve seen it all, though, and they’re capable of tackling any residential vent, no matter how long or twisted.

The company offers plenty of other services, too, both on the residential and commercial side. In addition to dryer vent cleaning, they also perform air duct inspections and cleanings, HVAC decontaminations, mold and mildew treatments, and more.

On the commercial side, Atlanta Air Pro works with businesses to ensure clean, irritant-free air quality. They utilize HEPA filtration and Rotobrush cleaning equipment to ensure bacteria-free and mold-free ducts.

Regarding their service area, the company doesn’t split hairs. Their contact page says that they service the entirety of the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Which Dryer Vent Cleaning Service Should You Use?

Those are our picks for some of the top dryer vent cleaning companies in the Atlanta area. Even just with these few, there are many good options available. So, the question remains: which service should you choose?

It really comes down to what you’re looking for from your service experience. If you prefer upfront, no-frills pricing, Dryer Vent Specialists and LServices Air Duct Cleaning have what you’re looking for.

If you’re after a wide breadth of additional services, Atlanta Air Pro and Daffy Ducts may have what you need. Examine what each company offers and try to filter each one by your needs to pick a service that works for you and your home.

If you’ve found that your dryer vent system causes your dryer to take up too much space in your laundry room, you may want to familiarize yourself with SnugDryer. This space-saving dryer vent installation kit helps to keep your dryer flush to the wall, minimizing the space it takes up.
